Under counter wine coolers, ice makers and beverage centers do cost slightly more than free standing ones, because they require front-vented cooling systems.  However, the efficient use of floor space more than compensates for the slightly higher cost.  All of these wine coolers and beverage centers are built to standard cabinet size width specifications.

Built In Wine Refrigerators, Beverage Can Coolers, Ice Makers

Generally, you will find quality under counter wine coolers, beverage centers and ice makers for approximately $350 to $1000 depending on what “bells and whistles” you wish to incorporate.  The cost of under counter wine refrigerators and beverage centers is higher than free standing models because of the extra front vent installation cost.  Wine cooler and beverage center products are also available that are pantry size built in uprights that can accommodate over 160 bottles of wine or a combination of wine bottles and beverage cans.  These larger wine cellars and beverage coolers will often cost from $1000 to $2000, also depending on the features you select.  The built in wine coolers, ice makers and beverage centers in this category can also be used as free standing wine refrigerators and beverage coolers.  We also sell two different styles of undercounter ice makers.  One ice machine model (IB120SS) does not require any extra plumbing while the other either requires a gravity drain connection or a condensate pump to use in conjuction with a drain hook up similar to what a dishwasher has.  The pumps are available as an add on to the IB450SS model.
